Layers - if changed active layer a number of times - then layer inserted after calculating a new point was the previous layer set. It would also not then allow you to change the layer on the point. You needed to leave and re-enter the program.

Running profile interpolation - using chainage calculated from another string. Points before and after the main alignment on secondary profile are now ignored.

Importing DWG/DXF. A new check box that controls whether dwg blocks are exploded or not. If not the block is replaced with a point in CDS2. Otherwise the block is expanded into lines, arcs, etc.

Installer Update

If you try to access cds2 by double clicking cdsdat file then the process can fail under certain conditions.
If you are running under a different user account than that which it was installed from then it brings up a message asking you to enter the address where cds2download.exe can be found. Even if this is available it still fails saying cds2.msi can not be found.

This is now fixed. cds2.msi is not deleted after installation now. The software automatically does the update now.

Site code/site key licensing now works for 64bit windows.

DOP (Dot On Point was not always right).

Fron File Menu - plot parameters - point parameters. Tick DOP tickbox and software forces you to use "courier new" as it is an even spaced font and makes sure dot ends up where it's supposed to be.
