When entering or changing strings the string can be saved immediately after a paste command into the edit box from the clipboard. Before nothing changed unless some further input was done.

Layer combo box added to points add, points alter and strings add and strings change. New layers can now also be added from these and also easier to select an existing layer.

If select two or more points on the screen then when you right click you see the option to automatically string the points together. The string automatically goes into layer "lots" and default id of string### If you need to change then simply right click on string after it is created and change it.

CDS 2.1.0.29

Feature code library and creating strings. Code library used to create strings in the order that points were picked up and went into the database.

It now does them in point number order. Most people wont see a difference as point pickup is normally in increasing point numbe order.

Further tweaking of screen display of text. We have added a tick box to the plot parameters - point parameter tab called "Text Height on screen". If this is ticked height displayed on the screen is identical to the text height printed or exported.

If it is unticked the text height on the screen reflects the text height set in options - view - text height.

CDS 2.1.0.25

Plot and display parameters are automatically stored to hard disk. When we open a new job these parameters are applied rather than hard coded initial defaults.

When creating a new string the layer is set to 0 rather than defaulting to no name.

CDS 2.1.0.24

Bug fix when displaying profiles based on road numbers. Can now use the same road number for each profile with a unique code.

Ezigrade 2.1.0.8

When adding in new field edges; existing field section's tended to get screwed up.

Monday, February 8, 2010

CDS 2.1.0.23

Some tweaking the way job is displayed on the screen.

When displaying job "my modes" the text color is taken from the layer the point is on; not the text color defined in options - view - screen text.

When displaying job "by layer" minimum text size is now capped. This avoids the problem that if font size gets too small windows automatically displays the text at a larger size which makes the job hard to see.
