When creating a topcon civil tn3 file. We now put in the filename to the file to make navigation easier in a Topcon Civil system.

AGD export using gridded data was ignoring the surface selected and using the first design surface in the job. Importing AGD files could fail in northern hemisphere.

CDS 4.2

Join now has an option to set an Azimuth. A handy feature for example if you have a job in UTM but want the grades relative to true north. Linetypes stopped working after all the data went into the "programdata" directory. Now fixed.

CDS 4.1

This is a major revamp of CDS3. When doing road design you can see in plan view the road design as you design profiles and sections. You can see straight away if there are issues at sharp corners. Easy to pick problamatic sections and delete them. Easy to see if we need extra sections in an area if natural surface changes quickly. Change a profile or template section and see the result straight away. (You need to hit recalc button)

We have made thesame changes to Pad design so you can see what we have as we go. Roads and Pad design now have a merge button. This creates a new design surface so we can send the design straight to machine control via appropriate export function in CDS or Ezigrade. We have changed the location of some of the data associated with CDS. Originally it was under the "Program Files(x86)" in a sub-directory; but this is a windows protected directory. So if you don't have admin access it wasn't possible to modify things here. In version 4 we have this data under ProgramData -> Foresoft -> CDS4
