Interactive CDS jobs on your Android and Apple phone or tablet in the field. CDS now includes an option to create an HTML5 file of the job. This may sound underwhelming but in fact it allows you to do a myriad of operations in the field on all of your latest mobile devices such as Android mobile phones and tablets, Apple devices such as Ipad's and Ipaq's, as well as Blackberry and Windows RT etc.

From the file menu - Export HTML and copy the html file to your mobile device. Open up the file in your mobile web browser and view the job as well as query points, list points and do joins. This is an initial release and more features are coming; including interfacing to your devices GPS. This may entail a new device specific App.

A new web page will be created shortly that will give you more details on how to run on your device, including recommendations on accessing the data file via the cloud using Dropbox, Icloud etc.

Have added in the ability to export directly to Google Earth from Ezigrade. Find from the File menu. There is also an option to export color shading in height bands if it is setup.

When doing a query, join etc doing a pan or zoom would break the rubber band line. Also you could not previously do a pan or zoom in the middle of drawing a selection polygon.

Las files were not being displayed properly if they contained more than 15 traces.

A number of improvements:

(1) For skew sections you can now select points on the screen with a road number,chainage and offset. Click on the "selected points" button to setup the table automatically.

(2) On Point Parameters Screen DOP for Height was appearing as DOl.

(3) Multi-cross sections were not coming out in different colors when in Export DWG drawing.

(4) Section Plotting 

We were getting an extra vertical line one the right hand side of the label box. Now fixed.

(5) Selecting Strings with a warning. Now works.

(1) Conversion from lat/lons to UTM coordinates was broken. Started using the wrong format for the lat and longs from a shape file.

(2) When creating a level-guide ascii file, the field was not showing up if you failed to give the fields a name. Default values are now created automatically.

When calculating in points you can swap between radiate and traverse mode at any time. Simply tick the radiate button when radiating and leave blank when traversing. When traversing the from point is automatically updated with previous point calculated.

When creating LandXML Eplan CDS now supports multi-part parcels.

The axes now have arrows at each end and the X axis is now labelled for clarity.

The user can now control whether smoothing carries across boundaries of sections. If the link between sections is set as common then smoothing occurs. If not set the smoothing only uses common points in the same section.

To set the link - first select it and then from the Fields menu click on the "Toggle Common Links" and if link is not set then it becomes common. If  the link is already set as common then it is unset.

Can now export a valid LandXML file in NSW ePLan format. We still need to streamline the process to make it for user friendly.

Can now view and print/plot numeric fields as a graph. The fields in Prolog can accept both alpha and numeric values. For example it is common practice to rate weathering as a factor between 0 and 10. If you only enter numbers in this field then Prolog can display a graph as well as print/plot and create a DWG output.

Can now enter in a RQD value as a length. This can be converted into a percentage from the

Edit - Convert RQD Length's to Percentages. The percentage is calculated from the thickness and is entered in the form RQD = 10% for example. You can also convert back using the appropriate menu item.

Also from View field there is a new dialog that displays holehole characteristics such as total depth and core recovered etc.

The display of design contours has been improved. To show them from the view menu - toggle the "Design Contours". They are automatically calculated and displayed.

Also if you now select a section node and drag it the Design Contours are automatically updated when you finish the move.

This is handy if you wish to do a design were you are trying to match contours along different sections.

Ezigrade 2.1.0.33

Ezigrade now allows you to specify a link as common. This means Ezigrade will adjust the common sections to create two planes that match along the specified common edge. The process is as follows. The planes of best fit are calculated for both sections. Along the common line a common point is approximated at both ends of the line. This point is an average but pro-rata taking into account the respective areas. Each field is then hinged around the common line to correct for cut and fill.

The common link is shown in red. To set this first click on the link which is turned green. Now click on the  Fields - Link Attributes menu item (More options are to be added here). Link is now made common. To reset it select it again and rerun. It is toggled.

The design contours above show common contours.

CDS2.4.3

CDS now supports LandXML input from Leica total stations. In particular the survey component has been supported and a stadia file is created with CDS.

When doing print or creating dwg. The hatch pattern was being based on a start point of 0,0 rather than lower left point of the rectangle to be hatched. Also if using hatch width of 12.5 mm then scaling hatch by 1.25.

When importing spreadsheet data entry's such as "SS   " ie trailing or leading blanks was not matching input codes. We know trim blanks front and back.

Hatch patterns created by "hatchkit" a 3rd party hatch creation / editing program were not being printed properly. Now works.

String Attributes for printing and plotting. The text color's were not being displayed properly.

Quality Assurance - remove duplicate points. This was sometimes missing points and needed to be rerun a number of times. Fixed. Have also added in an option to check heights and remove null height point if selected.
